Privacy Policy
Privacy & cookies
This notice explains the information handled when you use alltechandtravel.com or contact AllTechAndTravel.
For privacy questions or a request about your information, email hello@commonfolkdigital.com. Please identify the information or interaction concerned without sending passwords or sensitive account documents.
Visiting the website
This site uses WordPress and is hosted with Hostinger. Web requests can include your IP address, browser and device information, requested page and request time. Hosting, security and caching services process technical information to deliver pages, diagnose faults and protect the site against abuse. Wordfence is installed for website security.
Comments
If you leave a comment, WordPress collects the information in the form, including your name, email address and comment, together with technical information such as your IP address and browser user agent for moderation and spam detection. Your comment and display name may become public; the email field is not displayed publicly.
The comment form offers an optional choice to save your name, email and website in cookies for a later comment. Do not enter private account details in a comment. An avatar service, such as Gravatar, may receive a hash derived from your email address to check for an associated profile image. See Automattic’s privacy notice (opens in a new tab).
Email enquiries
When you email us, the address, message and any attachments you provide are handled through our email service so we can read and respond to the enquiry. Sending an email does not subscribe you to a newsletter. Please share only what is needed for your question.
Measurement and Google services
The site includes Google Tag Manager, which loads measurement tags including Google Analytics 4. These services can process information about pages visited, browser and device characteristics, identifiers and approximate location. Depending on the service and your settings, cookies or similar technologies may be used to understand site usage. A tag being present does not establish that every visit is recorded.
Read how Google uses information from sites that use its services (opens in a new tab) and Google’s privacy policy (opens in a new tab). You can manage or remove cookies in your browser; blocking some technologies may affect site features. A privacy notice is not itself a consent choice.
Advertising
We are preparing for possible Google AdSense advertising. The site is not yet approved for AdSense, and this redesign has not enabled Google advertising code. Before ads are introduced, this notice and the relevant privacy choices need to reflect the services actually used.
If Google ads are enabled in future, Google and other advertising partners may place or read cookies or use web beacons, IP addresses and other identifiers to deliver, measure and, where permitted, personalise ads. The Google information linked above explains its data use. Required consent controls must be in place before the relevant advertising technology runs.
Links to other websites
Our guides link to external sources. Visiting those sites is subject to their own privacy notices and settings. Links to source material open in a new tab.
Storage and your requests
Comments and associated information remain in WordPress unless removed. Email messages, technical logs and backups can have different retention periods according to the service and configuration involved. Contact us for information about a particular record, or to request access, correction or deletion. We may need to verify that a request concerns your information. Some records may need to be retained for security or other applicable obligations.
Information may be processed by service providers outside your country. We will update this notice when the site’s data practices materially change.
